My 8 Pregnancy Must Haves

by Monica Magan

1. This pregnancy pillow is incredible – I still use it – there isn’t much to say really other than BUY IT NOW, you need this in your life. Also comes with an extra pillow case.

2. Birkenstocks are my ultimate pregnancy must have! They are so comfy and adjust for when your feet get swollen. Somehow they keep your feet warm even though they’re open, and GREAT slip ons for when bending gets hard – coz when that bump grows it will get harder to put shoes on. These have now been a staple in my shoedrobe since 2019 and I will never look back.

3. A one a day pregnancy multivit with all the good stuff. I used Pregnacare and it worked wonders for me but it’s important to get what is suitable for you and consult your physician if need be.

4. The BEST BEST BEST (I can’t stress it enough) moisturiser for stretch marks and blemishes, this Egyptian Magic formula is a god send.

5. Something for when you feel a bit sickly – CREAM CRACKERS! These are yummy on a normal day but when the heartburn and sickness hits during pregnancy, this is a major must have.

6. The BEST maternity leggings that grow with your bump. I cannot put into words how comfy these Mamalicious grey leggings are. I wore mine up to 6 months postpartum too – I held on to them for as long as possible (they’re still in my drobe!) – I LOVE THEM.

7. Some soft, comfy, supportive bras. I found these the best – I was a b cup pre pregnancy and went to 34D so these were so good for supporting my bigger bust and back. They were also SO soft and when I had sensitive nipples (yup that happens) it was bearable and I had no major discomfort 🙂

8. The Day by Day pregnancy book by Dr Maggie Blott. This book is so lovely, I read it through both pregnancies. It guides you through each day – giving you size estimations, telling you what your baby has likely developed, when they can feel you, hear you, what you might be feeling. It even has some advice in there for partners and how they can help during particular phases. SUCH a great book – and it’s just a couple pages per day of reading.

Honestly I couldn’t have lived without any of these products and I hope this helps you to get what you really need during the your pregnancy.
